Dr. Wolkart is a distinguished optometrist, and the newest addition to our practice, bringing a wealth of expertise as the Director of Refractive Care.

Beyond the walls of his clinic, Dr. Taylor Wolkart finds joy in spending quality time with his family. His wife, Tiffany, and their daughter, Addison, add warmth and balance to his life. Their household is completed by two four-legged companions, Charlie and Macy, who share in the family’s love and joy.

Away from the optometry office, Dr. Wolkart is an avid outdoorsman. Whether he’s honing his skills in hunting and fishing or enjoying a round of golf, he finds rejuvenation in the great outdoors.

Dr. Wolkart comes from the vibrant community of Denham Springs, Louisiana, situated just outside the bustling city of Baton Rouge. His journey in the field of eye care is marked by a commitment to excellence and a genuine concern for his patient’s well-being.

A proud graduate of Louisiana State University, Dr. Wolkart earned his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences in 2016, laying the foundation for his career in optometry. He obtained his doctorate with honors in 2021 from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Dr. Wolkart embarked on his optometric career in Southern Alabama, where he distinguished himself through comprehensive eye care services. With a particular emphasis on treating and managing ocular diseases and excelling in post-operative care, Dr. Wolkart has become a trusted name in the field.
