With the current COVID-19 situation and the recent actions by the State of Illinois as well as the City and County of St. Louis, we wanted to let you know how we are changing to adapt and still be available to those patients who need us.
We have closed our Alton, Illinois office temporarily and are consolidating necessary services between our Hazelwood and Creve Coeur, Missouri locations. Depending on circumstances, we may consolidate down to one location in order to increase efficiency and to control sanitation.
We expect that all non-emergency or non-urgent eyecare will be postponed until we are cleared to resume routine care. We remain available as needed for emergency care as well as post-op follow-up care.
If you have an appointment with our office, you will be contacted as to whether your appointment is being delayed or to confirm a date, time and location for your appointment.
We are screening all patients by phone prior to their appointment. We are also asking the same screening questions when a patient arrives for their appointment. All patients and caregivers will be asked to wait in their vehicle until they are notified our technician is ready to work them up for the doctor. Only patients will be allowed in our office unless they are dependent on their caregiver for communication or other necessities.
If you are need of contact lenses before we can see you for your annual appointment, please call us and we will assist you. If you currently have glasses or contact lenses on order, you will be notified when they arrive and arrangements will be made for you to pick them up or for them to be mailed to you.
This issue is changing daily and new information is being published sometimes several times a day. We will continue to monitor this information and adjust as needed. Please know we will be here to help you if you are in urgent need of our services and that we intend to do so in a way that protects you, our other patients, our staff and our doctors.
